Charley Moore, CEO
Charley Moore is the founder and CEO of Acendi Interactive Company. Acendi develops RocketLawyer.com and the number one line of legal self-help software products in the United States. A winner of PC Magazine's Editor's Choice Award for best legal self-help software, Rocket Lawyer™ technology powers solutions offered by several hundred online and retail partners, including H&R Block®, TransUnion Interactive™, Avanquest™, Broderbund®, Cosmi® Corporation and Smith Micro.
In addition to RocketLawyer.com, Acendi develops a suite of complementary online services and software products. Mr. Moore has been an active advisor to Internet and software ventures since beginning his career as an attorney at Venture Law Group in Menlo Park, California in 1996. While practicing at Venture Law Group, he participated in the early-stage counsel of Yahoo! (IPO), WebTV Networks (acquired by Microsoft) and Cerent Corporation (acquired by Cisco Systems) and was the founder of Onstation Corporation (acquired by The Cobalt Group, a Warburg Pincus company). Mr. Moore continues to advise early to medium stage companies and their investors on partner and channel development.
Mr. Moore graduated from the University of California at Berkeley (Juris Doctorate), San Francisco State University (MS) and the United States Naval Academy (BS). He served as a U.S. Naval officer and is a Gulf War veteran.
He is a member of the board of directors of the Berkeley Law School, the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco, and the San Francisco First Tee Program. He previously served as a commissioner on the executive committee of the California Student Aid Commission and EDFUND board of directors.
